Ingredients
- 55g Cake Flour
- 25g Caster Sugar
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 60ml Milk
- 4 Bananas – approx 600g
- Vegetable Oil for frying
Method:
- Mix the flour, sugar, egg and milk together to make a smooth batter. Leave to rest for 1 hour.
- Slice each banana in half lengthways, then across into chunks about 7cm long.
- Dip the banana pieces into the batter and shallow-fry in hot oil for a few minutes or until golden brown all over. Drain quickly on paper towel and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
